ABSTRACT

In this project, primary objectives and main tasks are to plan and promote dual water systems, conservable and renewable energy system, and biodiversity system of sustainable development in university campus. With green building & construction concepts, we plan and design clean-green-sustainable spaces orchestrated with green construction materials from industries. Clean-green-sustainable policies include: to layout green construction and popularize sustainable concept, to take advantage of sustainable water resources in campus, to take advantage of green building &.construction materials, to educate the public about clean-green-sustainable concept, and the like.

 Accordance:

  1. This project drives to plan and design in accordance with trends of international clean-green-sustainable buildings and policies of Ministry of Education, establishing sustainable development schools.
  2. This project follows the contents of strategies of Sustainable Education Section in Sustainable Development Research Committee.
  3. This project drives to plan and design clean-green-sustainable spaces in campus of colleges by water and green building & construction plan of challenge 2008 ?national development plan.

Primary objectives:

  1. This project drives to plan and design dual water system from southern area to whole campus of National Yunlin University of Science & Technology (NYUST) by strategies of sustainable water resources in campus of colleges.
  2. This project drives to extend conservable and renewable energy system in whole campus of NYUST.
  3. This project drives to plan and establish biodiversity system in whole campus of NYUST.
  4. This project drives to build the impression of water and green environmental planning in campus of NYUST.
  5. This project drives to plan and design in accordance with kinds of guidelines of green construction and green construction concept.

 
 Expected effectiveness:

  1. If we drive to plan and design dual water system from partial to whole campus of YUST by strategies of sustainable water resources in campus of university, we can expect to save the annual dual water from 200,000- 250,00 to 300,000- 400,00 m3, and the use of water saving from 40H- 50H to 60H- 70H.
