    Reimei Elementary School realizes that in the face of global warming and energy depletion, promoting environmental education and sustainable campus has become a matter of great urgency. Thus, we center on living a green life with low carbon emissions and building an environmentally-friendly campus. Building a sustainable campus not only includes improving the hardware and software but also changing peoples concept of and attitude towards the environment, so we adopt and promote the principle, namely reduce, reuse, recycle, and replace.

    Xi He Yuan is a vegetable garden sponsored by the parents. To complement the curriculum, our teachers often bring students to this vegetable garden to experience what it is like to grow vegetables on their own and understand how vegetables grow. Parents and volunteers all have a lot of fun growing vegetables, and this vegetable garden has become a perfect place for teachers, students, parents, and volunteers to exchange ideas. To promote a green life with low carbon emissions and to build an environmentally-friendly campus, we launched a project called Sunshine Kitchen!XPure Water, which focuses on developing solar thermal energy and is complemented by the use of renewable energy, recycled rainwater, natural purification and water circulation, and community-friendly fences. We hope to build a Green and Ecological Education Park and utilize community resources and power to implement 4R in our daily lives.
