We hope to bring the local community and school closer by renovating the campus, improving the buildings on campus, and demonstrating ways in which natural resources can be recycled and reused. By doing so, our school will be able to educate our teachers, students, local communities, and neighboring schools on ways to use natural resources efficiently as well as conserve energy and water resources. Our school can serve as an example of ecological and environmental education. Additionally, with the newly-regulated Erren River, artificial wetlands in the community, and the planting of native plants, we are able to create an environmentally- and eco-friendly community. Such an environment serves to raise the environmental awareness of teachers, students, and community members as well as help the school achieve sustainable development.
