The core objective of our school is building a creative, warm, high-quality and sustainable campus. Campus is a common asset of school and community. A high-quality campus not only contributes to high-quality learning but also sustainable community. Sheng-li Elementary School is located at an old community in Pingtung Country and is rich in history. “Cultural preservation and environmental sustainability” are our developmental goals.
We believe that a joint effort between schools and communities to establish a sustainable campus can not only improve the well-being of children and residents but also exert its influence and set an example for other schools. By learning about sustainability and environmental ethics, students can learn a lot from human’s interaction with nature—they learn to be tolerant, patient, and self-disciplined.
